Initial Configuration When you launch Harvey for the first time, you will be prompted to run the Setup Wizard. This wizard automates the installation of required Python libraries and helps you download your preferred AI models (for transcription and translation) to enable all functionalities of the app. See Configure for more detail or if you wish to set paths manually.

Create a Project Once configured, select “Create Project” from the welcome screen. Choose a folder on your disk where all assets and data for this project will be stored.

Import Media Use the Import button to add Audio or Video files to your project.

Transcription Head to the Transcription tab, select your file, and hit “Transcribe” to generate your first text.
